Since May 1, 2020, S.E.A.L. Security Solutions (SEAL) has been our security patrol service for Knollwood Village. The SEAL patrol vehicle is a clearly marked, white, police-style vehicle that patrols neighborhood streets on different days throughout the week, and at different times, both during the day and at night. During patrols the officer will quickly respond to incidents and concerns reported by residents who call the SEAL dispatch number for Knollwood Village which is 713-561-5757.
If you notice any persons in the neighborhood who are behaving suspiciously please IMMEDIATELY call the Houston Police Department’s non-emergency phone number, which is 713-884-3131, and report them. After you report the suspicious person(s) to HPD please call SEAL dispatch at 713-561-5757 and report the suspicious person(s) to them.
If, however, you see a crime in progress, such as a person breaking the window of a house or vehicle or kicking in a door, then call 911, the City of Houston’s emergency number, to report it, and then call SEAL dispatch.
Knollwood Village is in Precinct 7 of the Harris County Constable’s office. The patrol dispatch number for the Precinct 7 Constable’s office is 713-643-6602. After calling the Houston Police Department and SEAL to report an incident, residents may want to call the Constable’s office, because if a Constable patrol happens to be in the immediate area then the Constable patrol may be able to respond more quickly.

Patrol Services
In addition to providing a visible deterrent to crime and a rapid response to residents reporting suspicious activity the SEAL patrol offers a number of other services to residents of Knollwood Village such as:
- Vacation Watches – SEAL will check on your home while you are away. To submit a request, 1) call our dispatch number or 2) click HERE to submit online or 3) download the form and email to vacationwatch@sealsecurity.com. Officer will inspect for issues once a day (when on patrol) and pay close attention to any activities around the property.
- Welfare check requests
- Respond to Home Alarm systems – Residents are encouraged to update their emergency dispatch numbers to include the SEAL number as SEAL dispatch will alert the patrol officer when the alarm is triggered and they may very well be the first on the scene if on patrol. Call priority should be homeowner(s), then HPD then SEAL.
- Reports of neighborhood incidents that SEAL responds to are provided to KVCC so they can be reported to residents in the Knollwood Village quarterly newsletter.
KVCC has posted no soliciting / SEAL Patrol signage at entrances to the neighborhood and residents can call SEAL to request that the patrol ask solicitors to leave. The SEAL patrol officer will be on the alert for fence gates, entry or garage doors, and residence doors that may have been left open by accident. The officer will attempt to alert the homeowner about the open door or gate before closing it. Officers will attempt to alert the homeowner if garage doors are found open after 10p. SEAL will respond to calls for assistance on matters such as lost pets, noise complaints, and violations of the City of Houston’s animal ordinances. The SEAL patrol officer also will be on the alert for newspapers accumulating on resident’s lawns and garbage cans on the street that may have been forgotten.
